Job summary

Synergypm in Dubai is seeking a skilled Accountant to manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support the company’s financial health. The role involves day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with standards and internal policies.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with strong Excel skills and experience in ERP systems; ACCA/CIMA/CPA is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Experience in accounting or finance role with strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Reconcile bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare VAT and tax-related reports where applicable.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow and report to management.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
