Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant cum Cashier to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate accounting and UAE financial regulations, with a strong focus on cash handling, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Duties

  • Record and reconcile day-to-day financial transactions using accounting software.
  • Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, VAT submissions, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collection and payment.
  • Assist in cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Cashier Duties

  • Receive and process payments (cash, cheques, bank transfers, online payments) from clients.
  • Issue receipts and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Deposit daily collections to company bank accounts.
  • Maintain petty cash fund and prepare replenishment reports.
  • Support sales teams on payment status and arrears.

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting/cashiering roles, preferably in real estate or developer.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and real estate financial practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
