Job summary

THE TEAM BUILDERS in Sharjah invites a detail-oriented Accountant with contracting and construction accounting experience to join our client’s team. You will manage day-to-day financial operations, project cost accounting, and ensure adherence to local regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include payables/receivables, monthly/quarterly closes, job costing, subcontractor payments, VAT compliance, payroll, budgeting support, and liaison with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience in construction or contracting.
• Strong knowledge of project-based accounting and cost control.
• Proficiency with Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance procedures.

• Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and relevant regulations.
