About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at Arabian Tea House Montenegro. This role involves managing financial transactions, preparing reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting internal audits to maintain efficient financial operations. (This position is based in Montenegro, Europe. Relocation assistance will be provided).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and manage accounts payable ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments.
  2. Handle accounts receivable by preparing and sending invoices and following up on overdue payments.
  3. Maintain detailed records of all accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  4. Monitor and reconcile aging reports ensuring timely follow-ups on overdue accounts.
  5. Review and process employee expense reports ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursements.
  6. Assist in the preparation of management reports and provide insights into financial performance and variance analysis.
  7. Support the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and stay updated on accounting standards.
  9. Prepare audit documentation and coordinate with internal and external auditors to address findings.
  10. Utilize accounting software to enhance financial reporting and maintain data integrity.
  11. Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information and uphold ethical standards in all financial practices.

Requirements:

  1. Valid UAE Residence Visa
  2. Bachelor's degree or certification in Accounting or Finance.
  3. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferably in an international environment.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  6. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  7. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.
