Job description

PrimeFour Consulting is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our management team in the UAE. As an integral part of our organization, you will collaborate with the Manager- Taxation and Accounting Services and other team members to ensure accurate financial records and execute various accounting tasks.

Accounts Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Compile and analyse accounting information to prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  2. Ensure compliance with accepted policies and procedures for maintaining financial records.
  3. Meet financial reporting deadlines and prepare management reports.

Accounting Control Procedures:

  1. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.

Daily Accounting Tasks:

Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions.

  1. Prepare balance sheets and track/reconcile bank statements.
  2. Create cost analysis reports, distinguishing fixed and variable costs.
  3. Support monthly payroll activities and maintain organized records.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  1. Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.

Administrative Support and Audits:

  1. Participate in quarterly and annual audits.

Attributes and Skills:

  1. Ability to build relationships with clients.
  2. Strong negotiating skills with confidence and discretion.
  3. Effective time-management and multitasking abilities.
  4. Detail-oriented with the capacity to handle heavy workloads.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience and Education:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a finance/accounting position.
  2. Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  3. Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
  4. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
  5. Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
