The Role

Accountant is a full-time position at a leading UAE free zone dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs for hassle‑free business setup and versatile licensing solutions. Salary up to 8,500 AED all‑inclusive depending on experience and qualifications. Location: Sharjah, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and assists on weekly cash collection, deposit and credit card transaction and verifying and signing off the document.
• Handles the Government Cost entries and reconciliation of the related costs with the AMWAL accounts.
• Reconciles VAT Ledgers at month‑end and assist with the preparation of VAT Returns at the time of filing.
• Prepares and posts month‑end closing journal entries and reconciles bank and cash accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in VAT, Tax Computations, Accounts Payable & Receivable, and Zoho Books.
• Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
