The Role

Accountant (Shipping Industry Experience Prefer)

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to support financial planning and budgeting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Manage payroll processing and employee-related financial records.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Keep up to date with changes in financial regulations and accounting best practices relevant to the shipping and logistics sector.

Requirements
