Job Summary: We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced accountant to manage UAE tax compliance, financial reporting, and client accounting services. This role involves direct interaction with external clients, ensuring their financial records are accurate, compliant, and professionally managed. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, in-depth knowledge of UAE VAT & CT laws, excellent client service capabilities and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. • Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries and reconciliations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust. • Prepare and submit accurate Value Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Tax (CT) returns in compliance with UAE tax laws, including handling refund applications when applicable. • Handle VAT/CT registration and de-registration processes for clients in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements. • Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on behalf of clients for audits, clarifications, and submissions. • Ensure all client tax documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready. • Maintain and ensure that all client details are accurately updated on the Emaratax portal. • Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance with the latest requirements. • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation. • Ensure the timely submission of audited financial statements to the relevant authorities in compliance with regulatory requirements. • Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as required to support the team and client needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA) is required. • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE. • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT/CT laws, IFRS, and FTA procedures. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zero or ViewPoint). • Advanced Excel skills Key Competencies: • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
