Job Purpose

To manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide timely financial reports to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping — Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable — Process supplier invoices and payments. Issue customer invoices and follow up on collections. Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
  • Financial Reporting — Prepare trial balance, P&L statements, and balance sheets. Generate management reports for review and analysis. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Compliance & Audit — Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and statutory requirements. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. Implement accounting policies in line with IFRS.
  • Banking & Treasury — Manage petty cash, cash flow, and bank transfers. Maintain relationships with banks for smooth financial operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations (VAT, corporate compliance).
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP B1 knowledge would be an advantage).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
