Role Description

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing accurate financial statements and reports. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, issuing invoices, monitoring collections, and ensuring timely payment processing. The role also involves budgeting support, variance analysis, bank reconciliations, and assisting with audits and compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management to provide financial insights that support business decisions and operational efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, billing, and collections.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decisions.
• Solid understanding of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and cost control activities.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in accounting within construction, equipment rental, or related industries is preferred.
