Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with proficiency in Tally, financial
calculations, and the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations,
and preparing reports that provide a clear view of the company’s financial performance. This role
requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and a high level of
accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tally Software Management:

o Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally software.

o Ensure accurate entry of financial data in Tally, including purchases, sales, and other

financial transactions.

o Generate reports from Tally for management review, such as ledgers, trial balance, and

balance sheets.

o Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements,

including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

o Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accurate reporting.

o Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

o Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.

o Ensure all transactions are accounted for and follow up on any discrepancies.

4. Audit Support:

o Prepare and assist in the internal and external audit process, providing required

documentation and supporting information.

o Ensure financial compliance and adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

5. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

o Provide management with financial insights and reports to support decision-making.

o Analyse variances and provide commentary on financial performance.

6. General Accounting Duties:

o Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.

o Process invoices, payments, and expenses in line with company policies.

o Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring the timely recording of transactions.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in manual accounting and spreadsheet tools (e.g., MS Excel).
