Job summary

Trustbend Packers & Movers in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. The role focuses on recording daily transactions, maintaining records, and supporting reporting and compliance for our logistics and moving operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid grasp of UAE VAT procedures. You will work cross-functionally with logistics and procurement to ensure accurate financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and applicable financial procedures is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and account summaries.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups.
• Verify invoices, expenses, purchase documents, and payment requests.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning.
• Prepare and maintain VAT and tax-related documentation in accordance with UAE requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, warehouse, and administration teams regarding financial matters.
• Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files.
• Ensure financial information is handled with strict confidentiality.
