Job summary

TGS KOYA Chartered Accountant in Dubai, UAE seeks a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate financial insights to support decisions. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 2+ years UAE experience, and proficiency in Zoho, Tally ERP, and QuickBooks, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate in accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA Affiliate/Member, CA preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in UAE-based audit/accountancy.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency with Zoho Tally QuickBooks and MS Excel; ERP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain proper accounts of transactions using accounting packages and maintain records/documentation.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounts and reports in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements for accuracy.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to management, highlight trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file returns as required.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.
• Contribute to process improvements in accounting systems and practices.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making processes. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain proper accounts of transactions of the company using appropriate accounting packages with maintenance of proper records and documentation by using accounting packages such as Zoho. Tally ERP, Quick Books etc
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounts and reports in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning efforts.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to management, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax returns and reports as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems, implementing best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g. ACCA Affiliate or Member, CA is preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within the audit and accountancy industry in UAE
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software such as Zoho Tally, quick books etc and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
• A strong ethical mindset and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
