Job description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage our general accounting functions, with a focus on accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and inventory management. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely generation and accuracy of our financial reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Zoho Books and Excel, with the ability to transition to MS Dynamics Business Central. Familiarity with Zoho Books or other accounting software is essential.

Additionally, the applicant should be able to understand our product basic specifications to effectively manage inventory. Experience in cost accounting or managerial accounting, or holding a CMA certification, will be considered a significant advantage.

Scope of work:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee the accounting and bookkeeping processes for both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely disbursement to employees.
  • Inventory and Stock Accounting: Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory and stock, including regular audits and reconciliations.
  • Pricing and Cost Analysis Support: Assist in pricing strategies and cost calculations to optimize profitability and support business decisions.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and present financial reports in a timely manner, providing insights for management review.
  • Record Accuracy and Audit Preparedness: Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring readiness for audits at any time.

Issue highly accurate reports either as system-generated or Excel. And perform a basic financial audit.

Qualification:

  • Experience in stock/inventory accounting preferred in trading and manufacturing.
  • Fast self-learner and starter
  • 4 years’ in-depth experience in AP, AR, Payroll, Inventory, Bank reconciliation.
  • Experience in cost calculation, pricing will be advantageous.
  • Experience certificate/s: related is required (for all experienced applicants).
  • Highly skilled and experienced: (excellent) in Excel.
  • Education: Certified in accounts.
  • Minimum typing speed: 25WPM.
  • Must be: confident personality, highly disciplined and organized, 100% physically fit.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, goal-oriented in meeting your own deadlines with little to no supervision.
  • Fluent in English with a clear accent.
  • Excellent online search skills.
  • Excellent effective and efficient professional business communication.
  • Good in MS Word.

Qualification as an advantage:

  • Holding a UAE driving license.
  • More than 2 years of Zoho Books experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP software.
