Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations including budgeting reporting reconciliation and compliance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the events or entertainment industry with a strong understanding of project-based accounting and vendor/client management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounting process including general ledger AP/AR bank reconciliation and month-end/year-end closing.
  

• Prepare financial statements cash flow projections and monthly management reports.
  

• Track and report on event-specific budgets expenses and profitability.
  

• Ensure accurate invoicing to clients and timely payments to vendors/suppliers.
  

• Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  

• Coordinate with event managers and production teams on project costing.
  

• Monitor cash flow forecast expenditures and recommend financial actions.
  

• Liaise with external auditors banks and regulatory authorities.
  

• Oversee junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
  

• Implement and improve internal financial controls and systems.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA ACCA or CMA is a plus).
  

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience preferably in the Trading industry.
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles UAE VAT laws and IFRS.
  

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks Zoho Books or SAP).
  

• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
  

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
