Position: Accountant

The role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months based in UAE.

Position reports to:

Chief Accountant, Gulf & Levant Region - Accounting Shared Services Center based in Dubai.

What You'll Do
  • Data Entry
  • General Ledger Accounting
  • Support Month end / Year end close activities
  • Balance Sheet Analysis
  • Fixed Assets Accounting
  • Corporate Card Administration
  • VAT / CIT compilation and filing of returns
  • Maintenance of Accounting Records
Working knowledge of Core Business Processes:
  • Books and Records
  • Property Accounting (Fixed Assets)
  • Accounts Payable & Payments
Required Qualifications - Skills:
  • Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data in a timely and accurate manner
  • Attention to Detail: Approaches work in a meticulous, thorough, and detailed manner
  • Deadline-Oriented: Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Time Management: Prioritizes work to meet goals and deadlines
  • Confidentiality: Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure
