Job summary

Evernex is seeking a capable Finance professional to oversee client invoicing, collections, accounts payable, and monthly closes for our MEA entities. You will manage accounting tasks, ensure timely reporting, and coordinate with auditors in a lean, performance-driven culture.

Reporting to the Finance Manager MEA, you will shape processes, maintain compliance with VAT and other taxes, and drive accurate financial statements while working with SAP/Zoho or similar systems.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Business Administration/Accounting.
• 3 years relevant experience in corporate accounting/finance.
• Experience with VAT, annual tax return, and withholding.
• Detailed knowledge of accounting standards and reporting.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing, collections and overdue follow-up (Accounts Receivable)
• Bookkeeping and payments to suppliers (Accounts Payable)
• Monthly processing of employee expenses
• Bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Monthly close and financial reporting

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager MEA, this position will also offer the right candidate the opportunity to have an impact on all aspects of our Accounting function.

How will you make an impact?

You are responsible for, but not limited to:

• Primary responsibilities include client invoicing, collections, and follow-up on overdue accounts (Accounts Receivable); supplier bookkeeping and payments (Accounts Payable); monthly processing of employee expenses; bank and intercompany reconciliations; and monthly financial closing and reporting.
• Responsible for full accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all finance and accounting tasks for the assigned entities.
• Drive consistent and effective policies and procedures during monthly close process including account reconciliations, bookkeeping, accruals, and coordination with external auditors for year-end audit requirements and reporting
• Liase with external consultant on timely manner
• Ensure financial reports to the Finance Manager MEA in the reporting system

• Previous experience in tax filing (ie. VAT, Annual tax return, Withholding)
• Detailed knowledge of accounting and other relevant reporting standards.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Proficient in MS Office application.
• Experience with accounting systems such as Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and able to think analytically
