Job description

About Company:
The company is a liquidity and technology provider of solutions for the crypto and foreign exchange (FX) industry. It specializes in B2B services and products and caters to a wide range of clients, including large licensed brokers, crypto exchanges, crypto brokers, forex brokers, hedge and crypto funds, and professional managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain financial records following IFRS and UAE tax laws.
  2. Record daily transactions and ensure ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
  3. Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  4. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  5. Liaise with internal departments and external auditors as required.
  6. Monitor cash flow and support forecasting activities.
  7. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with FTA requirements.
  8. Maintain fixed asset registers and perform regular asset audits.
  9. Support internal financial controls and recommend improvements where needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
  3. Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, XERO, or ERP systems).
  5. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  6. High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  7. Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
