A leading company is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions and reports. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and several years of UAE-centric experience, particularly in audit. This role combines maintaining accounting controls, preparing reports, and managing accounts, offering a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:
-Preparing monthly financial reports.
-Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
-Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
-Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
-Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
-Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
-Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
-Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
-Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
-Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
-Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results
-Supplier payment reconciliations
-Prepare cash flow and income statement forecasts
-With the ability to work independently, the Accountant is responsible for completing the accounting requirements including handling creditors, debtors, bank reconciliation and balance sheet.
-Some administration related tasks may also be required, and any other additional tasks required by the department head or the management.
Skills:
•Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting. UAE experience must.
• Prior experience in Audit firm as external auditor is must
• Accounting software experience of Xero will be given preference
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently and maintaining the highest level of quality.
• Enjoys problem solving and has strong analytical ability.
• Experience working within Small Businesses.
• Experience and knowledge in basic business strategy and how accounting information can be used to improve business decision making.
• Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ CA Inter/ACCA Finalist/Similar Qualification
