MEAD Medical Supplies & Equipment LLC is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, a strong grasp of UAE VAT rules, and familiarity with healthcare or medical equipment sectors. Arabic and English bilingualism is mandatory.

You will handle general ledger, AP/AR, invoicing, and monthly close. The position supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across UAE, Oman, and KSA regions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years accounting experience; UAE experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Arabic & English.
• Healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sector experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and UAE/Oman/KSA.
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo or similar).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare and review invoices, purchase orders, and payment documentation
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts
• Assist in VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE/Oman tax regulations
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and cost allocations
• Support audit processes and provide required documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, service) for financial alignment
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Bilingual in both Arabic & English (Mandatory)
• 2–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Prior experience in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations in the UAE, Oman & KSA
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
