An Accountant plays a critical role in managing financial records, performing calculations, analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting principles. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
Use accounting software to maintain financial records accurately.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
