About the Client:
We are sourcing on behalf of a diversified group of companies with operational bases in both the United States and the United Arab Emirates. The group’s portfolio spans sectors including real estate, investments, consulting, and services. As the organization continues to scale, there is a need for a detail-focused Accountant to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and coordination across multiple banking relationships and investor records.

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to oversee bank reconciliation, investor contribution tracking, expense management, and the compilation of financial records across multiple entities. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and comfort working with multi-currency transactions across US and UAE bank accounts. The successful candidate will liaise closely with finance managers, operational leaders, and investor relations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and reconcile bank statements from multiple accounts across the US and UAE.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date ledger of all inflows, outflows, transfers, and fees.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank records and internal documentation.
Investor Contribution & Expense Tracking:
- Record and track investor contributions, capital calls, distributions, and reimbursements.
- Monitor and categorize operating expenses and project costs across multiple companies.
- Prepare periodic financial summaries and reports for leadership and investor teams.
- Support the preparation of internal financial reports, audit materials, and year-end closings.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and US reporting requirements where applicable.
- Maintain organized, confidential records accessible for review and audit purposes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably supporting multi-entity or cross-border operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or equivalent).
- Strong Excel skills for ledger management, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience managing multi-currency accounts (especially USD and AED).
- Fluent in English; strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with investment funds, family offices, or diversified holding companies.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and UAE VAT frameworks.
- Exposure to handling investor relations accounting (capital calls, distributions) is advantageous.
