Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, driven, and detail-oriented Account Manager – Social Media Led to lead our multi-brand automotive client. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on juggling multiple brands, leading content-driven campaigns, managing client relationships, and guiding cross-functional teams through the entire content and campaign lifecycle. The candidate should bring both strategic acumen and hands-on social media expertise, while also mentoring junior team members and ensuring best-in-class execution across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Client Ownership & Account Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring consistent, high-quality servicing across multiple automotive brands.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, strategic input, and timely response to all client needs.
  • Work closely with the Account Director to translate business objectives into impactful social-led, integrated solutions.
  • Lead and participate in weekly/bi-weekly WIPs with clients, ensuring action plans are captured, tracked, and delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage scopes of work, budget tracking, and invoicing cycles.

Social Media & Content Oversight

  • Oversee the development and delivery of monthly social media calendars across 4–5 automobile brands, ensuring alignment with brand tone, seasonal relevance, and platform best practices.
  • Guide and review content briefs prepared by the team; ensure accurate, inspiring, and strategic briefs are shared with the creative, design, and production teams.
  • Supervise the content development process, reviewing static and video assets before sharing with clients—ensuring both creative quality and brand integrity.
  • Lead the approval process with clients, coordinate final approvals, and work with production teams to plan and execute content shoots (at client premises, outdoor locations, or showrooms).
  • Attend key photo/video shoots and activations as needed to ensure alignment with creative vision and client expectations.
  • Provide constructive feedback on creative output and help optimize content based on platform engagement and audience behavior.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution of social-first integrated campaigns, from client briefing to delivery, including creative concepting, media coordination, and production execution.
  • Collaborate with Creative, PR, Media, Activation, Production, Web & Analytics teams to ensure smooth and timely campaign rollouts.
  • Draft and present campaign proposals, timelines, and budgets to the client, managing expectations and incorporating feedback effectively.
  • Manage production-led deliverables, working with the Production Manager to oversee costing, quality assurance, supplier management, and timeline adherence.

Team & Workflow Supervision

  • Mentor and supervise a Senior Account Executive and/or Account Executive, providing guidance on task prioritization, briefing quality, and professional growth.
  • Review all client deliverables prepared by junior team members, offering constructive feedback and ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Work closely with the traffic manager to allocate creative resources and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
  • Serve as a quality gatekeeper, ensuring client-ready work is always polished, on-brand, and on-brief.

Community Management & Reporting Oversight

  • Coordinate with the Community Management Team to ensure timely publishing of content, active engagement management, and alignment with client response protocols.
  • Oversee DMs, queries, and comment management, and help escalate non-standard questions to clients and ensure timely responses.
  • Lead the preparation and finalization of monthly performance reports in collaboration with the community and strategy teams.
  • Identify and present key insights, content performance learnings, and improvement areas to the client.

Key Skills & Qualifications

4–6 years of account management experience within an advertising/digital/social agency (preferably with automotive or multi-brand experience).

Strong social media marketing knowledge, with hands-on experience in managing large-scale content calendars and digital campaigns.

Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members, ensuring output quality and team development.

Proven ability to manage multiple brands, fast-paced timelines, and high-pressure environments.

Excellent client communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong eye for creative detail and understanding of what makes content resonate on each platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration including with creative, strategy, production, and analytics teams.

Experience attending and overseeing on-ground shoots, activations, and events, with flexibility during evenings/weekends.
