Job description

About FINN Partners

Founded in 2011, FINN Partners is one of the world's fastest-growing independent, integrated marketing and communications agencies. The firm operates from offices across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, working across health, travel and tourism, technology, financial services, consumer and lifestyle, and public affairs.

The UAE office is based in Abu Dhabi. It is a small, close-knit regional team operating inside a large global network: the agency's scale and specialist resources sit behind a team where every hire has direct, visible impact on client work.

More about the role

Lead day-to-day management of significant international client accounts within FINN's travel and tourism practice, acting as the senior client relationship holder. Alongside this, contribute to new business development for the practice, including hands-on pitching for prospective clients.

Own the day-to-day delivery, quality, and client relationship for major accounts within the travel and tourism practice. Contribute to growth of the practice through new business development and pitching.

What you'll do
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of client accounts within the travel and tourism practice, ensuring campaigns and activities are delivered to a high standard and in line with client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a day-to-day point of contact and ensuring client requests and priorities are managed effectively.
  • Plan and execute PR and communications campaigns, including media relations, press office activity, content development, destination positioning and trade activation.
  • Develop story angles, identify media opportunities and proactively pitch stories to relevant journalists across local, regional and international markets.
  • Write, edit and proofread client-facing materials, including press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, presentations and reports, ensuring accuracy and editorial quality.
  • Research travel, tourism and hospitality trends to identify opportunities for clients and inform campaign planning and media outreach.
  • Monitor campaign activity and media coverage, track results and prepare client reports, providing insights and recommendations to support campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute ideas to account planning and campaign development, supporting the delivery of creative and research-led communications programmes.
  • Support new business development through research, brainstorming, proposal development and pitch preparation.
  • Assist with account financials, including budget tracking, monitoring campaign costs and ensuring work is delivered efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across FINN Partners' regional and global network, as well as clients, journalists, freelance support and external suppliers.
  • Support and guide junior team members and freelance resources where appropriate, including briefing tasks, reviewing work and maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage multiple client projects concurrently within a small, fast-paced team environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Travel as required for client meetings, trade shows, industry events and market visits.
  • Reports directly to the Senior Partner, Middle East. May provide day-to-day guidance to junior account staff and freelance support, depending on seniority.
  • Works with FINN Partners' global network, client representatives, external vendors, news media and other PR and advertising agencies.
Experience that contributes to success
  • PR and communications experience, ideally with exposure to travel, tourism, hospitality or destination-marketing accounts.
  • Fluent in English, with strong writing and editing skills and the ability to produce high-quality, client-ready content.
  • Experience managing or supporting PR accounts and delivering campaigns from planning through to execution and reporting.
  • Good media relations skills, including developing story angles, pitching journalists and identifying opportunities to secure relevant media coverage.
  • Experience building client relationships and managing day-to-day communications, with the confidence to take ownership of assigned accounts and activities.
  • Ability to research industry trends and develop relevant ideas to support client campaigns and communications objectives.
  • Experience contributing to new business proposals, presentations and pitch development.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, competing deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Good editorial judgement and attention to detail, including the ability to verify information and handle sensitive content appropriately.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
  • Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial regional team environment, adapting quickly across different projects and accounts.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues would be an advantage, particularly for candidates at Senior Account Manager level.
