Job summary

Edelman UAE is seeking a proactive PR professional to manage day-to-day account work, provide tactical counsel to clients, and lead on select accounts across high-profile brands. You will engage with clients and internal teams to deliver compelling campaigns and media outreach.

You will excel in proposal writing, content development, and media relations, coordinating with suppliers, guiding juniors, and delivering projects on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of public relations and experience with retail clients.
• Prior client-facing experience with tactical counsel.
• Strong UAE media relations with English outlets.
• Excellent project management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to guide junior staff and manage multiple accounts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven content development experience (press releases, alerts, bylined pieces).
• Fluent in Arabic.

THE ROLE

Your role involves managing day-to-day account work and providing support to senior team members. You will have a frequent interaction with the client providing counsel on tactical implementation. You may also be the primary lead on some accounts within the team and will have the opportunity to work on a number of high-profile brands.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Account management, including leading clients and internal meetings.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Ideally someone with an understanding of public relations and experience working with retail clients.
• Previous client facing experience, including providing tactical counsel.
• Strong UAE media relations with English media outlets.
• Strong project management skills.
• Effective time management, and demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst managing multiple accounts.
• Experience guiding junior employees.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including skills in negotiation and obtaining cooperation.
• Strong content development skills, and experience drafting press releases, media alerts, bylined articles, features etc.
• Fluent in Arabic.
