Job Summary & Purpose:

Sharaf DG team is seeking a bright, customer-obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. An Account Manager within the respective category will focus on selection expansion, managing brand relationships, driving both topline and bottom-line growth, and establishing operational hygiene. The incumbent will have end-to-end ownership of the allocated portfolio of brands and subcategories, responsible for delivering growth as well as profitability.

You will interface internally across functions and be responsible for all aspects of the vendor's business with Sharaf DG. You will engage directly with vendors to optimize the product line for the respective category. You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as merchandising, buying, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing to drive performance and create key strategic vendor partnerships. This role focuses on the strategic and operational management of customer relationships with our vendors.

You will conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts, including marketing campaigns to grow product transactions, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue. Additionally, you will analyze strategic and operational aspects of vendors' business with Sharaf DG, including root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting their business.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:
  1. Responsible for the P&L of the assigned account, with complete end-to-end ownership of driving portfolio AOP revenue and profitability.
  2. Onboard new brands, identify selection gaps, and address them through business development; oversee the onboarding process end-to-end.
  3. Work closely with accounts to develop win-win relationships by ensuring stock, promoter, and pricing availability with quality products.
  4. Drive market share for each account as per organizational guidelines.
  5. Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration between brand partners, operations, and backend support functions.
  6. Measure, track, and analyze key account metrics to improve revenue and margins.
  7. Serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams.
  8. Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners and brands, ensuring timely supply of merchandise and assortment build-up for marquee events.
  9. Conduct timely internal and external business reviews with brand partners.
  10. Establish operational hygiene by setting up and adhering to cross-functional SOPs.
  11. Achieve monetization targets for marketing investments with brands.
Requirements:

Experience: 4-6 years in key account management, with experience in launching concepts, managing categories, and revenue management.

Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree. An MBA in Sales and Marketing is desirable.

Skills & Abilities: Strong planning and organizing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
