Who You Are

The Account Manager will play a critical role in a 160/90 team working for a major client on their Global Partnerships portfolio. You will work with an international business operating in multiple markets, with interests across Sailing, Tennis, Formula One, and other regionally focused properties. The Account Manager will be part of the Communications team, collaborating with Partnerships, Creative, and Strategy teams across 160over90’s London and New York offices.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, understanding, and empathy towards client requirements, responding with solutions.
  • Lead in planning and delivering activations, guest management, and hospitality initiatives across all partnerships within the client’s sports portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the broader Dubai, London, and New York-based teams to ensure consistent messaging and approach to campaign and activation development.

Partnership Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with rights holders, ambassadors, and stakeholders in the client’s partnership portfolio.
  • Understand partnership contracts and rights packages; ensure assets are managed to maximize value.
  • Manage budgets accurately and forecast effectively.

Campaign / Activation Management

  • Support project planning, client management, budgeting, reporting, and administration.
  • Lead hospitality experiences and guest management.
  • Establish relationships with vendors.
  • Experience with guest communication and event platforms like CVENT is preferred.
  • Work with PR, Communications, and Creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Business / Industry Knowledge

  • Quickly understand and immerse in the client’s business and challenges.
  • Recognize the impact of sports and partnerships on business.
  • Stay informed about sports and partnership landscapes and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Experience with integrated campaign delivery and B2B brands is advantageous.

Proficiency in Writing

  • Draft client proposals, planning documents, and reports with insight and clarity.
  • Proficient in PPT, Keynote, Excel, Word.
  • Knowledge of guest management platforms like CVENT is a plus.

Other

  • Support broader business and leadership team with ad-hoc tasks related to clients.
