The role of the Account Manager is to manage an existing list of accounts to achieve the desired retention rates. This is a great opportunity for an energetic Account Manager wto effectively renew a list of existing accounts for the Intellectual Property (IP) business and seek, the ideal candidate will also need to have a strong background in prospection as 60% of the role is to go after new logos.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • A self-starter who is not afraid of taking the initiative and generating their own ideas on how to find and grow new business
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 4-5 Years Account Management experience
  • Language requirements Arabic is preferred
  • Persistent and motivated to overachieve against target
  • Excellent sales, account management and presentation skills
  • Great organization and time management skills
  • General knowledge and understanding of utilizing SFDC
  • Curious, flexible and competitive
  • Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment
  • Proficiency in WebEx, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is preferred
  • Desire to grow in your career and work in a fast pace environment
  • Previous experience in Information Technology and Services, Legal Services, and Information Services field would be a bonus
  • Experience in Intellectual Property is a plus
  • Experience working with global teams

What will you be doing in this role?

  • To achieve/exceed territory sales plan by achieving the desired retention targets with an emphasis on growing new logos within the assigned region,
  • Forecast accurately your direct manager with constant communication throughout each month
  • Work efficiently with customers and leads to ensure you are following Clarivate’s sales cycle that includes a define process in Salesforce.
  • Be constantly learning and improving upon your understanding of the relevant set of Clarivate products that are sold to the user base.
  • Ensure you have a strong understanding of competitor products and services and how we can successfully position ourselves against them.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and events and share your customer, product and sales knowledge with the wider team.
  • Maintain adequate meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management.
  • Responsible for creating and updating account profiles, providing quotes and booking deals in Salesforce.com.
  • Identify potential targets and contact lists for core job roles within existing clients

About the Team

This role reports into the Senior Director, IP Segment Sales Northern Europe and Middle East working as part of a team of 8 Account Manager based across the UK, Sweden and Dubai

Hours of Work

Full-time, permanent role based in our Dubai office on a hybrid basis 2 days per week in the office. This role will require circa 40% travel.
