Job Description: Account Manager | Digital Partner Marketing Manager (DPMM)

Job Summary:

VML Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager | Digital Partner Marketing Manager (DPMM) to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will focus on assisting and consulting our partners, primarily ISVs and Cloud Solution Providers, in developing and executing effective marketing strategies. The DPMM will be responsible for fostering strong partner relationships and driving impactful campaigns that support their business objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep expertise in B2B, Technology, and Data-Driven marketing, specifically within the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to collaborate across digital, social, and direct channels, and will act as a trusted advisor to our partners.

Role Requirements:

  • Strategic Partner Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of partners, proactively building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships.
  • Marketing Expertise: Provide expert guidance and consultation to partners on all aspects of marketing, including strategy development, positioning, messaging, and value proposition articulation.
  • Campaign Development & Execution: Collaborate with partners to plan, develop, and execute partner-led marketing campaigns across various digital channels, including but not limited to: search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end campaign process, from initial planning to post-campaign analysis. Monitor campaign performance, identify areas for optimization, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal VML teams (e.g., creative, media, analytics) and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, Microsoft representatives) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Best Practices & Education: Stay abreast of the latest marketing best practices, emerging trends, and industry insights, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. Proactively share this knowledge with partners through training sessions, workshops, and ongoing communication.
  • Microsoft Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of Microsoft offerings, incentives, and discounts relevant to partners. Educate partners on these opportunities and assist them in leveraging them effectively.
  • Investment Tracking & ROI: Work closely with the regional team to ensure accurate measurement of marketing investment impact through a co-marketing dashboard process. Track investment, analyze results, and provide clear reporting on ROI.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns are delivered within agreed-upon parameters.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Planning: Develop effective marketing strategies aligned with business goals, provide guidance on positioning, messaging, and identify unique value propositions tailored to partner offerings.
  • Campaign Management: Collaborate with partners to plan and execute partner-led marketing campaigns across various digital channels. Oversee the end-to-end campaign process, including planning, execution, and measurement. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless execution, monitor performance, optimize strategies, and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a set of partners, building relationships and understanding their unique needs and challenges. Collaborate closely with partners to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and provide ongoing support.
  • Marketing Best Practices and Education: Keep partners informed about the latest marketing best practices, emerging trends, industry insights, and Microsoft offerings/incentives/discounts. Provide education and training sessions to enhance partner marketing knowledge, skills, and understanding of customer journey.
  • Investment Tracking and ROI: Work with the local regional team to ensure measurement of marketing investment impact via co-marketing dashboard process. Track investment and impact.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365) is a plus.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience overall, with a focus on B2B, technology, and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize campaigns based on data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Native in Arabic is preferred.
  • Experience working with Microsoft partners is highly desirable.
