About the Role:
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our commercial team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates as an Account Manager.
This role is responsible for delivering the revenue budget for a prescribed portfolio of accounts. The Account Manager will negotiate Commercial Agreements, engage in joint sales and marketing activities to grow QR revenue through partners, and drive efficiencies in distribution processes.
Role Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximize revenue, reduce costs, and promote channel shift.
- Introduce PLBs where appropriate.
- Review QR sales data to identify revenue opportunities.
- Submit monthly sales call plans and weekly reports; update trade and corporate partners about QR products and services.
- Provide market intelligence on QR's strengths, weaknesses, threats, opportunities, and events, recommending changes with proper justification.
- Acquire sales leads and increase awareness of QR products; distribute marketing materials.
- Enhance QR visibility through marketing materials and media coverage in coordination with the Marketing Department.
- Advise on product developments and discuss promotions.
- Plan sales activities to ensure optimum revenues.
- Lead discussions on PLBs with accounts.
- Recommend pricing requests and manage individual budgets.
- Manage accounts and key customers; plan and report sales activities; update partners on QR offerings.
- Research competitor schedules, fares, and events; recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department.
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions and events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Travel Trade, Government, embassies, and Commercial Houses.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and prospect for new business through meetings, calls, and visits.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a multicultural environment, preferably in the airline industry.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Experience working in target-driven, pressurized environments.
- Knowledge of GDS systems, ticketing, and sales experience.
