Job description

Who do we need?

To be successful in the role, you must have proven skills in planning, creative and strategic thinking, as well as the ability to manage accounts and account teams. You will be a strong leader with excellent writing and communication skills and an ability to translate client needs into project plans. You will also help develop and implement engagement campaigns for various clients. Ideally, you should have agency/consulting or related experience with a background in Financial & Banking PR. You must be adept at drawing upon previous sector experience to provide clients with knowledge and counsel, complemented by your sector-specific client servicing skills and media relations with key journalists in both local and regional media.

What will you be doing?

Client Relations
  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and oversight of your accounts, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Support clients at events and activations.
Content Development
  • Develop external and internal content.
  • Assist in setting and meeting campaign measurement and evaluation criteria.
New Business
  • Drive organic growth and project sell-in from existing clients, ensuring they are aware of our offerings and pitching services whenever possible.
Industry and Market Knowledge
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the clients' business, current developments, and trends affecting their industries and markets.
  • Understand the role of social media channels in PR and how to utilize each channel effectively for clients.
  • Provide counsel on social media content and activations based on understanding of the clients' digital work.
Account Team Management
  • Contribute guidance and ideas for the account teams to develop client work.
  • Assist in financial management, including supplier coordination and activity reports.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with renowned Financial & Banking clients
  • Experience from a reputable PR agency
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in client servicing and media relations, and ability to write in various styles
  • Experience managing colleagues and teams
  • Experience with measurement- and evaluation-driven client accounts
  • Strong presentation skills, professionalism, and poise
