The Client:

Our client is a prominent company in the foodservice industry across UAE. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager- Foodservice to drive business growth, manage key customer relationships, and elevate their market presence in the highly competitive foodservice sector.

The Role:

As the Account Manager – Foodservice, you will play a critical role in managing customer projects, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring seamless service delivery to local and regional clients. Your expertise will be vital in supporting high-value accounts, optimizing internal processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction across the foodservice segment.

  1. Ensure successful implementation of customer projects including tracking sample and quote evaluations, contract status, and intervening on-site where necessary.
  2. Manage customer complaints in line with company standards and ensure timely resolution.
  3. Drive marketing and sales of the local product range in accordance with established pricing guidelines and in collaboration with the TPM.
  4. Conduct annual planning and forecasting for your sales region, particularly for top customers, adapting forecasts as needed.
  5. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives aligned with broader business unit goals.
  6. Provide proactive support to all local customers and intensify relationship management with top clients in your portfolio.
  7. Achieve sales, turnover, and profit targets while initiating corrective actions in consultation with your line manager to address variances.
  8. Promote organizational and procedural efficiencies, driving and implementing changes to enhance performance.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in foodservice sales or account management.
  3. Prior experience working either for a foodservice brand or as a supplier to major QSRs, with a clear understanding of their decision-making and operational frameworks.
  4. A well-established network in the region (customers, chefs, distributors, equipment providers – both local and expatriate).
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building business and spotting opportunities.
  6. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  7. Energetic “get-it-done” attitude with a strong passion for the foodservice industry.
  8. Flexibility and willingness to travel across the region as required.
