Job description

JOB TITLE: Account Executive (Marketing and Communications)

LOCATION: UAE

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent

REPORTING TO: Senior Account Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As an Account Executive, you will play a vital supporting role in maintaining strong relationships between clients and the agency. Working closely with Account Managers and Senior Executives, you will assist in managing day-to-day account activities and project coordination to ensure smooth execution of marketing, PR, and digital campaigns. You will be highly organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional work that aligns with client objectives, deadlines, and budgets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Management

  • Be the day-to-day point of contact on selected accounts and lead the conversation with the client.
  • Build strong relationships and networks with clients and Acorn Strategy colleagues.

Project & Account Coordination

  • Provide day-to-day support on assigned client accounts, ensuring deep understanding of client needs, maintaining updated WIPs and action plans, and adhering to internal and external workflows.
  • Attend meetings, document and communicate action items, and take ownership of account performance to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards within agreed scope and timelines.

Strategic Planning & Campaign Support

  • Support the development and execution of campaign plans, content calendars, and integrated marketing, PR, and digital activities, ensuring all outputs are high-quality, engaging, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Effectively brief internal teams on client goals, audiences, and campaign specifics, while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client delivery across marketing, PR, content, and social media.

Reporting & Research

  • Collate, analyse and evaluate reports on assigned clients’ accounts as directed by the account lead.
  • Assist the strategy team with any market research related activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

  • Ability to build a collaborative relationship with all internal team members, third party stakeholders and clients.
  • Strong project and account management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and client accounts in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience using a project management system (ClickUp preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of integrated marketing tactics, corporate communication and media relations.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, PR, or advertising agency role.
