Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Account Executive / Senior Social Media Account Executive to join our team at MullenLowe MENA, dedicated to a flagship Entertainment & Leisure / Tourism & Experiences client.
This is a purely social media-led role that requires being on-ground to plan, capture, and publish engaging content in real-time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, bilingual (English and Arabic), flexible with timings, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Calendar & Planning
- Develop and manage monthly and campaign social media calendars in collaboration with the content team.
- Take data-driven insights and learnings from previous month’s performance to shape stronger, more engaging content for upcoming calendars.
- Get content calendars approved by the client and ensure timely execution.
- Pre-plan production requirements with on-ground creators (photographers/videographers).
- On-Ground Social Coverage
- Capture real-time content (stories, posts, reels) exclusively using a mobile phone while on-site.
- Supervise and assist content creators during events and activations, ensuring all key moments are covered.
- Provide caption support in English and Arabic, ensuring engaging and culturally relevant communication.
- Publishing & Community Coordination
- Work with the Community Management team to ensure correct scheduling, tagging, and posting.
- Develop FAQs for upcoming campaigns/events with the Community Management team, share with the client for approval, and ensure FAQs are ready for use in managing queries.
- Act as the bridge between the client and Community Management team, seeking responses from the client for specific queries and relaying them back for accurate replies.
- Monitor live posts and ensure client approvals are followed through seamlessly.
- Reporting & Performance
- Gather daily, weekly, monthly, and campaign reports via the Community Management team.
- Evaluate performance, analyze content effectiveness, and provide insights with recommendations for improvement.
- Client & Internal Collaboration
- Serve as the on-ground liaison with the client for all social media deliverables.
- Keep track of what needs to be shot, what goes live, and upcoming content priorities.
- Proactively ensure timelines are met and opportunities for engagement are maximized.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of agency social media experience (preferred in entertainment, leisure, or tourism). Experience in a similar on-ground social media role will be highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of Meta platforms (Instagram & Facebook), YouTube, and TikTok.
- Hands-on experience with native publishing, content approvals, and reporting.
- Ability to shoot and edit mobile content with an eye for storytelling.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multi-tasking on-ground.
- Strong client servicing and communication skills, able to manage approvals quickly and smoothly.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic (mandatory requirement).
- Flexible, adaptable, and energized by working on-site at live events.
Note: This is not an integrated account management role. It is a specialized, social-media-first position designed for someone who enjoys being on the ground, close to the action, and working directly with a client in a dynamic environment.
