Account Executive

Teneo is the global CEO consultancy. We focus on advising CEOs and executives of globally operating companies and offer strategic advice across all relevant topics of communication and strategy consulting. Our clients include international world market leaders from the major stock indices as well as established startups, (fin)tech representatives and medium-sized companies. We offer integrated advice on mission-critical topics such as strategic communication, litigation PR, crisis communication, restructuring, corporate management, cyber, business and geopolitical risks, corporate governance, ESG, diversity & inclusion (DE&I) and regulation.

In order to expand our range of services in the field of public affairs in Germany, we are looking for entrepreneurial talents with a passion for politics and business, who enjoy working on socio-politically relevant issues and are looking for challenges. We are also interested in newcomers who want to prove themselves in an international and team-oriented environment and think outside the box.

Your tasks include:

• Collaboration in advising clients on strategies of political advocacy and stakeholder approach in a national and international team
• Independent monitoring and analysis of the regulatory, social and economic environment of our customers as well as derivation of customer-relevant implications and recommendations
• Preparation of relevant documents and texts for the political communication of our clients
• Assumption and implementation of sub-projects within our existing mandates (incl. project and partial budget responsibility)
• Ensuring high quality standards in project, customer and document management
• Knowledge or acquisition of in-depth knowledge of our clients' business and industries
• Initiative and willingness to take on tasks for the team

What you should bring with you:

• A degree in political, legal, social or communication sciences
• First practical experience in the areas of politics, regulation and/or public affairs in companies, associations and/or consulting
• Team play, a professional appearance, strong communication skills and a high level of personal commitment as well as reliability and organizational talent
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with various topics and industries as well as a very good understanding of political debates
• Fluent in German and English
• Courage to express one's own opinion and sense of humor
