You’re accountable for partner growth and “happy money.” You know how to build a client portfolio and spot relevant growth opportunities—whether within existing accounts or new business leads.
You’re a confident leader who can drive pitches, proactively generate opportunities, and independently manage senior client relationships at Director and C-Suite level.
Business Fundamentals- You own the commercials of the accounts in your portfolio and consistently deliver on target.
- You are clear what great looks like in your industry and for your client portfolio, and constantly push your team to deliver excellence.
- You are able to build and deliver key account plans with little to no assistance, ensuring your team tracks toward quarterly goals and objectives.
Client Relationships- We believe in relationships over transactions - You have proven you can add value to client relationships over the long-term.
- You have shown a knack for quickly bonding with clients in business development.
- Your relationships extend beyond professional into personal.
- Clients rely on you for your strategic input and business / industry knowledge.
- You can confidently navigate expectation management and can foresee and solve problems ahead of time.
Business Development- You can confidently extend your client relationships beyond day-to-day contacts and build a strong stakeholder map.
- You are fully versed in your client’s offering, their business objectives and pain points and can easily define opportunities and proactively identify where Tactical can add value.
- You relentlessly and constantly generate new leads, opportunities and relationships through proactive outreach and effort.
- You support highly nuanced and extremely complex negotiations with multiple buyers and approval processes—handling objections and tough conversations with ease.
Leadership- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft and deliver commercially smart, forward-thinking solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, tech shifts, and the competitive landscape to inform your strategies.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the partner’s organisation through workshops, presentations, and ongoing consultation.
What you bring- Extensive experience in account management, business development, or a related role.
- Deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
