Job Description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare accounting, audit, and tax-related deliverables in accordance with company procedures and best practices.

Execute assigned tasks based on the defined work plan and ensure timely completion aligned with internal and client deadlines.

Attend client visits, meetings, and perform fieldwork as advised by the senior team or management.

Conduct monthly closing of books and generate MIS reports as per the agreed schedule and format for each client.

Perform any ad-hoc accounting or compliance work as required by the clients or senior management.

Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure consistency and excellence in output.

Ensure all deliverables follow best practices and meet internal quality benchmarks and client standards.

Identify opportunities to adopt digital tools and improve workflow efficiency for the team.

Act as a liaison between the firm and clients to clearly define engagement objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Address client queries promptly and professionally to maintain strong client relationships.

QUALIFICATION: Junior - Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) or equivalent. Familiarity with UAE tax regulations and accounting practices.

Senior - ACCA / MCom / CA Inter or equivalent qualification. Strong understanding of UAE VAT, accounting standards, and audit procedures.

EXPERIENCE: Junior - Minimum 2 years in a similar role as an accountant or audit executive.

Senior - Minimum 4 years of total experience, including, At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within an accounting firm.Minimum 2 years of UAE experience is mandatory.
