Job summary

Jing Hau in Abu-Dhabi is seeking a Tutor to provide personalized instruction for students. The Tutor will develop tailored lesson plans, conduct assessments, and deliver one-on-one tutoring across mathematics, science, reading comprehension, writing, history and other subjects using diverse teaching methods.

Candidates should communicate effectively with students and parents, motivate learners, display patience, and organize sessions to support academic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Tutoring/teaching experience preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge base in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts/Reading, History, and related subjects
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with students and parents/guardians
• Ability to provide clear instructions for difficult concepts
• Knowledge of varied learning styles and classroom strategies

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans tailored to individual students’ needs and abilities
• Conduct assessment tests to evaluate strengths, weaknesses and progress
• Provide one-on-one instruction in mathematics, science, reading, writing, history and other subjects
• Use diverse teaching methods (lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, multimedia) to engage students
• Encourage students to reach academic goals with positive reinforcement
• Display patience and supportive guidance for students needing extra help
• Communicate progress and concerns with parents or guardians

Education
