Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask in an efficient manner.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight (30 lbs.)

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort customers to their tables.
• Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. portions, ingredients or potential food allergies).
• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
• Offer menu recommendations upon request.
• Take accurate food and drinks orders, using appropriate language and knowledge of menu items.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
• Check dishes for accuracy before serving them to guests.
• Clear dirty plates, glasses, and silverware from tables during the course of the meal as needed.
• Respond promptly to all customer inquiries or complaints in a friendly manner.
• Ensure that all customers leave satisfied with their service.
• Provide guests with an enjoyable dining experience by anticipating needs throughout the meal
