Job summary

A leading international law firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Project Development Associate with 1–3 PQE to join its projects team. You will advise on the development and financing of high-value infrastructure and energy projects across the Middle East for international and regional clients.

The ideal candidate possesses 1–3 years' PQE, a common law qualification, and training at a top-tier international firm, with strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

1–3 years' PQE in project development/projects.
Common law qualification.
Training at a top-tier international or leading law firm.
Strong academics and excellent technical ability.
Experience on sophisticated, cross-border projects.
Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
Ambition and commercial awareness to develop within a leading international practice.
Middle East experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Advising sponsors, developers, investors and other stakeholders on project development and delivery.
Working on complex infrastructure and energy projects from development through to implementation.
Drafting and negotiating key project and commercial documentation.
Working closely with lawyers across other practice areas and jurisdictions.
Developing relationships with sophisticated international and regional clients.
