Job summary

Workato is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will collect blood from patients, label and transport samples, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in phlebotomy is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in phlebotomy is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients according to established procedures
• Ensure the safety of donors and staff by following infection control policies
• Label, store and transport samples as per protocol
• Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis and tests
• Maintain records of collected samples
• Answer patient questions regarding the process
• Assist medical staff in minor medical procedures when necessary
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times
