CAE Inc in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Simulator Technician I to support operation, maintenance and reliability of simulator equipment within our maritime training environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and a path to specialist simulator maintenance skills in a renowned test bed.

You will learn preventive maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, document activities, perform checks before and after training sessions, and support hardware refurbishment.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or four-year engineering degree in electronics, computers, IT or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes and meters.
• Fluency in English and driving licence required.

Responsabilités

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance on simulators and associated systems.
• Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Record maintenance activities in the maintenance management system.
• Perform pre- and post-training checks on designated simulators.
• Carry out basic visual system alignments and tests.
• Assist with simulator refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Provide technical support to customers and the wider Technical Services team.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in simulators and equipment.
