CAE Inc in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Simulator Technician I to support operation, maintenance and reliability of simulator equipment within our maritime training environment. This entry-level role offers structured training and hands-on experience with specialist simulator systems.

Formación

• Two-year technical degree or four-year Bachelor's in electronics, computers, IT, mechatronics or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to read system drawings and technical schematics.
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, logic analysers).
• Soldering and circuit board repair abilities, MS Office literacy, driving licence, and fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance on simulators and related systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting simulator equipment.
• Use maintenance management system to record and track activities.
• Complete designated technical and operational training.
• Perform pre- and post-training checks, visual alignments, QTG tests.
• Support refurbishment, hardware modifications and wider Technical Services team.
• Assist with logistics, parts receiving, repairs, testing & validation.
