Job description

A320 First Officer Assessment Event - Rome

Conduct the flight in compliance with the current flight plan, SOPs, and the Captain's instructions. When the Captain is not at the controls, notify him/her of any changes to the current flight plan, ATC, or geographical position upon their return.

Assist the Captain as requested with any administrative duties related to the flight.

Ensure the safe navigation of the aircraft by maintaining a continuous and independent check on both the geographical position of the aircraft, ensuring safe terrain and weather clearance.

Maintain high personal standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of Etihad Airways at all times.

What you’ll bring

To be considered, you will need to meet the following criteria:

1. A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time.
2. A minimum of 1500 hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (1), or high-performance military jet.
3. At least 500 hours on one of the A320 Family aircraft.
4. Recent experience flying any Airbus FBW within the last 12 months.
5. Type rating on A320 should be valid for a minimum of 2 months at the time of joining.
6. ICAO current and unrestricted ATPL. (Frozen ATPL is not accepted unless held by a UAE citizen.)
7. Current on A320 aircraft.
8. Maximum age limit is 50 years old.
9. English Language Fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or better.
10. For hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted towards the minimums.

(1) Glass Cockpit: aircraft with an FMS coupled to APFDS.
