Job summary

Rayqube is seeking a hands-on 3D content lead who can drive the creative and technical direction of immersive applications. You will manage a team of 3D designers, align with programming, and deliver high quality, performant content across BR and client projects.

You will work from Rayqube's Dubai-based studio, coordinating with PMs, design teams, and external freelancers. Strong Blender and Unity skills, plus URP/HDRP expertise, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Blender and Unity to create 3D content.
• Expert in URP and HDRP pipelines.
• Strong Shadergraph and VFX graph knowledge.
• Familiar with Unity profiling to optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between project managers and design team to ensure communication pipelines.
• Review briefs and brand guidelines to understand the client brand.
• Prepare content mockups using creative and technical methods to present content.
• Lead a team of 3D designers, creating design standards, file standards, and organizing the content library.
• Design high quality and performant 3D content that allows interactivity.
• Create stunning environments with post processing and lighting setups.
• Create processes and templates for 3D design.
• Create hiring process & manage freelancer network to scale the 3D team.

Role Summary

You will be the creative and technical lead behind the 3D content of the applications made by Rayqube. You will go through briefs and brand guidelines, create content mockups that stick to the brand of the client, lead a team of 3D designers to deliver high quality performant applications alongside the programming team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate between project managers and your design team to ensure proper communication pipelines

• Lead a team of 3D designers, creating design standards, file standards, and organizing the company’s content library.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 yrs as a 3D Artist or a Technical Artist utilizing both Blender and Unity.
• Must be in expert in both URP an HDRP pipelines
• Must have strong knowledge in Shadergraph and VFX graph
• Must be familiar with designing 3D environments
• Must be familiar with Unity profiler to optimize performance
• Must be intermediate with Adobe Creative Tools
• Basic knowledge in version control using tools like Github
• Basic knowledge in texturing tools like Substance 3D Painter
