Job summary

PixelChain in Dubai's Business Bay is seeking a passionate 2D Game Artist to bring characters and worlds to life. This full-time role blends storytelling with visuals to deliver emotionally engaging experiences.

You'll create assets, collaborate across design, animation and development teams, and contribute from concept to final polish while upholding the game's distinctive art style. Hybrid working and generous leave are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a 2D Artist in the game industry or a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other digital painting tools.
• Strong grasp of color theory, composition, anatomy, and lighting.
• Familiarity with mobile or PC game art pipelines.
• Bonus: Spine, After Effects, or Unity experience.

Were looking for a 2D Game Artist to join our creative team and help craft visually stunning and emotionally engaging games.

What Youll Be Doing

• Create high-quality 2D game assets: characters environments props UI elements and more
• Collaborate closely with game designers animators and developers to ensure visual consistency and clarity
• Contribute to the visual development process from concept to final polish
• Follow and help maintain the art style and visual direction of the game
• Participate in art reviews and implement feedback quickly and constructively

What Were Looking For

• 5 years of experience as a 2D Artist in the game industry (or a stunning portfolio to prove your talent!)
• Proficient in Photoshop Illustrator or other relevant digital painting tools
• Strong grasp of color theory composition anatomy and lighting
• Familiarity with mobile or PC game art pipelines
• Bonus: Experience in Spine/After Effects animation or Unity implementation
