Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Draughtsman with a strong background in joinery, woodworking, and renovation projects to join a reputable fit-out and interiors firm in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precise 2D shop drawings that align with design intent, technical requirements, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D shop drawings for joinery, fit-out, and renovation works
• Translate architectural and interior design drawings into detailed joinery layouts
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specs, client needs, and production guidelines
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and project managers for approvals and revisions
• Revise drawings as per client and project team feedback
• Maintain an organized drawing archive and track versions/documentation
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to support smooth project execution
  
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field
• 3-5 years of UAE experience as a draughtsman in renovation, joinery, or fit-out projects
• Expert in AutoCAD 2D drafting
• Strong understanding of joinery materials, detailing, and construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/ID drawings and BOQs
• Detail-focused, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Good communication and coordination skills
