145 Production Planner – Aviation Maintenance in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a specialist airlines/aviation planning role that focuses on preparing maintenance documentation, controlling work packs, coordinating task cards, managing maintenance input schedules and ensuring aircraft maintenance records are completed in line with regulatory, customer and company requirements. This opportunity is ideal for an aviation maintenance planning professional with Part 145 production planning experience, AMOS ERP knowledge, maintenance billing exposure and strong attention to detail in a business aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise company approval in relation to aircraft maintenance planning requirements.
- Accept maintenance work only when it is aligned with the organization’s capability, approvals and available manpower.
- Keep the Maintenance Manager and Certifying Staff informed of all planned maintenance input schedules.
- Compile, issue and control task cards, work packs, quotations, parts requests, tooling requirements and project documentation.
- Prepare all required documentation for certifying staff and technicians to carry out efficient aircraft maintenance events.
- Ensure all requested work is correctly added to the maintenance work pack.
- Request parts quotations from the parts department and forward them to customers for approval.
- Ensure additional maintenance tasks are approved by the customer and added to the work pack during maintenance input.
- Advise customers about potential service disruptions, delays, technical issues or areas of concern that may affect scheduled work completion.
- Ensure adherence to published technical, regulatory, maintenance and safety requirements defined in approved manuals and publications.
- Prepare final release documents and ensure certification paperwork is completed on time according to company procedures.
- Enter all relevant maintenance planning, project and documentation data accurately into the AMOS ERP system.
- Prepare final invoices and send them to customers after completion of maintenance events.
- Support maintenance billing, invoicing, documentation reconciliation and customer communication.
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably directed by the Planning Supervisor.
- Ensure company safety precautions are followed and actively participate in the company Safety Management System.
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in 145 production planning.
- Experience in maintenance billing and invoicing is required.
- Experience in VIP aviation, business aviation, private aircraft operations or premium aviation services is preferred.
- Valid unrestricted UAE driving licence is required.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation, task cards, work packs, approvals and release documentation.
- Good knowledge of Part 145 maintenance planning requirements and aviation regulatory procedures.
- Experience using AMOS ERP or a similar aviation maintenance system is an advantage.
- Detail‑oriented and methodical approach to planning, documentation and task completion.
- Ability to handle multiple maintenance events, priorities and deadlines under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with customers, technicians, certifying staff and internal teams.
- Strong ownership mindset with pride in delivering accurate, compliant, and high‑quality work.
- Willingness to be permanently based in Dubai or relocate to Dubai for a full‑time contract role.
