Zusammenfassung
A cruise ship company based in Cape Town seeks an experienced Production Manager to coordinate all production activities on board. The ideal candidate will manage production schedules, oversee staff hiring and training, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A Bachelor's degree in Theater or Performing Arts and a minimum of 5 years in production management are essential. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as required.

- Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of production staff and crew members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and seamless execution of all productions.
- Monitor and maintain production budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of production equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and implement new techniques and technologies to enhance productions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing multiple productions simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as required.
