Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic & Financial Results
- Achieve the key goals outlined in Heineken Beverages Corporate Strategy and ensure annual budgeted EBIT is achieved/exceeded.
- Produce a set of financial reports and supporting schedules accurately and timeously ensuring that month end cut offs are met, to determine the performance of the
- region (profit and loss)
- Improve reporting on operating cost expenses, assist with driving cost efficiencies and continuous improvement on operating cost management.
- Coordinate annual Business planning, Budgeting and Forecasting process (DMOS) as per the business timelines.
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecast.
- Review and submit the final monthly regional commentary for the Income Statement to the Head of SA Finance and the RGM
- Prepare the monthly SALT Performance Slides for the Region
- Present the monthly Financial Performance to the SA Finance Management Team
- Ownership & Performance
- Manage; co-ordinate; support & align the Heineken Beverages Management Operating System (DMOS) by collaborating with process owners and key stakeholders.
- STI tracking through collaboration with SA Finance, Meaningful and value add reporting on STI management.
- Support Business Partnering activities while maintaining Governance in the region
- Support self-service and ad hoc reporting
- Co-ordinate annual CAPEX plan and assist with CAPEX Management as well as process adherence and key cut offs in this regard.
- Customer & Relationship Results
- Lead effective internal & external relationships.
- Support the Regional Business Partners with Finance and Strategic analysis
- Build active relationships with business partners to ensure alignment and the delivering of operational KPI's.
- Effectively support the RGM and the Head of SA Finance with regards to adhoc requests related to Finance and governance matters
- Build effective relationships with Group Internal Audit to ensure alignment and cascading of Internal Controls in the Region
- Attend Depot visits with cross functional management teams in order to drive the regional priorities through review and engagement sessions
- Innovation & Improvement Results
- Drive continuous improvement in area of responsibility
- Implemented new ideas and improved methods, systems and work processes which lead to higher quality, better results at same or reduced cost
- Identify process improvements for all functional areas within the region (Cross functional partnering to deliver on Financial goals)
- Support the Head Office functions (Sales and Distribution COE) with the cascading and change management of projects in the region
- Financial governance, internal controls, and risk mitigation
- Implement, maintain, and assess key financial controls
- Oversee that Internal Control Checks are performed monthly for each DC
- Conduct regular regional internal audits at DC ‘s and sign off on the Audit Reports compiled by the Finance Team
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigating controls
- Assist the Regional Depots in the implementing, understanding, and complying with the Heineken Beverages Risk Management Program, the OSHACT, and any other relevant risk/safety/security statuary requirements
- Optimise cost of risk and assist with investigations for risk, theft, and fraud related incidences
- Effective management of Excise account and completion of related monthly ICC
- Take responsibility for own development and contribute to team effectiveness.

Requirements:
- 5-10 years relevant FMCG experience
- Experience within Sales and Distribution/Logistics within FMCG would be advantageous
- A completed Masters of Business qualification
